How DocAI handles your documents, org data, and extraction quality signals.
Document retention
By default, DocAI is built so your org does not keep extracted document bodies in History. You can enable retention in Settings when you need to reopen past results. When retention is off, history may show job metadata without the payload. Extraction jobs are configured to avoid provider-side caching of your files when that option is available.
Organization isolation
Accounts belong to an organization. API keys, jobs, usage, and settings are scoped to that org. Database policies enforce that isolation so members of one org cannot read another org’s data.
Access and erasure
From DocAI Settings you can delete retained organization document data, or permanently delete your account (workspace, keys, connectors, and login). Account deletion forfeits free-tier eligibility for that email—signing up again will not grant another free extraction or $1 trial. Paid credit packs remain available after re-signup. Confidence and citations
Extraction quality depends on the mode you choose. Lite is a local draft. Plus, Pro, and Ultra run cloud extraction — prompts and fields are optional (a server default is used when omitted). Pro turns on confidence scoring. Ultra also returns source citations for stronger review workflows.
Credits and billing
DocAI uses prepaid credits. Modes cost 0.5 (Lite), 2 (Plus), 3 (Pro), or 8 (Ultra) credits per page. Pack sizes are listed on the DocAI home page. Pack approximations are shown in Pro pages (credits ÷ 3).
